Saving Birds of Prey!

Div. 18 decided on their own to make and sell book marks.  A few students approached Mr. Bondi on their own to sell the book marks 25 cents and laminate them.  He said yes and now our whole class is busy making posters, signs, book marks, advertising and promoting their cause to help O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife!  Not only do they help owls but other birds of prey.  They had come earlier this year as part of our science and nature curriculum.

Here is the link to see what OWL does for birds of prey!

http://www.owlcanada.org/

OWL needs to buy a new home as the one they are renting continues to flood.  The molt is not good for all the birds nor the many volunteers that donate their time and care!

Help us help OWL move and return birds of prey to the wild!

Everyone save your dollars as OWL is coming June 20, and June 21st for a wonderful photo opportunity and all monies go to help OWL!

*June 20th only... from 11:30 to 1pm for $10 you can have a photo taken with a real Bird of Prey! or for $5 you can have a photo taken with Oddy the OWL Mascott (like the Easter Bunny photos).

*June 21st from 11:30 to 1pm you can have your photo taken with Oddy the OWL Mascott for $5.

Everyone making signs...
